Tumblr, please spread this like WILDFIRE. This teenager has been wrongly suspected of being one of the Boston bombers. He’s scared for his family.
Please pass it on.
Signal boost or GTFO. NOW.
and this is why i hate the fucking internet
Along with this, Sunil (a different man) is innocent.
Ugh one of the downfalls of instant “news.” They jump to conclusions and make false accusations. I feel so bad for this guy. He does not deserve any of this!
The internet is a very damaging tool sometimes. Like those “funny” pictures or videos people take of people who are unaware they’re being photographed and then they’re out on the internet, humiliated. Like wow how fair is that shit?
But that’s nothing compared to people spreading that you’re a terrorist because reasons (?!?!!?!) That boy has every reason to be afraid because many idiots believe rumors instantly and there’s people who will act on based rumor. I normally don’t reblog things that don’t pertain to my fandoms however I feel compassion for this boy being fucked over by a rumor like this.
Warren Andrews had just finished putting up balloons for his stepdaughter’s 18th birthday party at their suburban home in Mayflower, Arkansas, when his wife came inside and said something was wrong. After stepping out of his house, and taking one glance, he immediately dialed 911.
“I don’t know what’s going on, but I’ve got a river of oil coming down the street at me,” Andrews told the operator. Five minutes later, the slick of noxious black crude spewing from a ruptured Exxon Mobil pipeline was eight feet wide, six inches deep and growing fast.
In this photo, spilled oil from Exxon pipeline runs through a neighborhood in Mayflower, Arkansas on March 29, 2013. Reuters was recently given access to the photo from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
Exxon is refusing to let reporters anywhere near the accident. They’re also controlling the airspace above the spill. They don’t want you to see what’s happening. TOO BAD, EXXON.
Signal boost the shit outta this, y’all.

Confirming, I have friends in Chelyabinsk, and they currently are running around helping the injured. They say one more meteor is to be expected in the evening, but that is still to be clarified.
Good luck to them.
You know it just seems kind of wrong to me that this didn’t get any attention.
In China on the same day as the Sandy Hook shooting, 22 children and an elderly woman were stabbed outside a primary school. (full article here x)
I have seen a ton of posts about the Connecticut shooting, which is great. We need to show that this sort of thing is not okay. Yet I have not seen one post about this. It’s not okay for this sort of thing to happen in any part of the world, and it doesn’t help that the media sucks ass. They focus in on America, and when something bad happens to America, it get’s amplified. But in China? There’s some articles out there, but it goes unnoticed because terrible things like that happen frequently in other countries.
Sandy Hook was a tragedy, but can we maybe say a prayer for these injured little kids too?
Well, the thing is, China places a lot of censorship on its media and pretty much controls the flow of information between Chinese news agencies and their audiences. That’s why it takes quite a while to get news out from the country. Plus, with its history of restricting international journalists (even Hong Kong journalists who are technically “Chinese” citizens), it’s really hard to get on-the-site information as well.
Sandy Hook, on the other hand, gained lots more attention and was sensationalized because it was so much easier and faster to get information about the incident. There’s a lot more freedom in America.
This could be one reason why the media failed to report much about what happened in China.
Because our 24/7 news media can’t actually do journalism, CNN, MSNBC, FOX and others have all just helped ruin someone’s life because they posted headline pictures of the wrong fucking Ryan Lanza.
Facebook groups calling for his death have already been created. Apparently it’s now open season on anyone named Ryan Lanza. Share this so people stop having blood vengeance for whoever this guy is.
I hope he actually does get a lawyer and sue the shit out of them, kid will be set for life.
Reblogging again because seriously.
This is stupid because the actual killer shot himself afterwards.
this news video seems to say that it wasn’t him
